10/13/23- This is the first place where the 3 star score is because I'm really torn on how to rate them. This is because our food experience was so opposite ends of the spectrum. The sandwiches were horrible (totally 1 star food level). Not only were they basically made out of lunch meat, there was very little on them, and they were soggy. The donuts on the other hand were great. Like the cherry fritter I had was one of the best pastries I've ever had. I will say in some of my posts that your experience is based off what you order, and here it is totally true. Don't waste your time with any of the food here except the donuts.
This was my second time visiting this small donut shop. The donuts are fresh and tasty, the coffee is fresh and hot, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I will definitely return again.

I have been coming to this Winchells since 2007. They're always friendly. It has a family and neighborhood vibe. You want everybody to know your name 😊 the doughnuts are so good. I'm going to try the breakfast burritos. I usually miss them because they sell out. I'll get one or two next time.

Stoked that small donut/coffee shops like this still exist! Hard to beat handmade daily and open 24/7
After numerous experiences at this location its time I leave my review. Donuts are really nice and soft, and with leftovers, a 10-second heat up is all you need. We usually get the breakfast burrito also and amazing. What really pushed this review is I did another order today and when I received my delivery it made us chuckle. See photo. Kudos to this location.
Today I bought some donuts to go, and I've never been more let down. I have never before encountered a CRISPY donuts in my life. It wasn't soft...it was crispy. I want a refund for the dozen that will be trashed.
Excellent customer service, they listened to all the details we asked for and were able to accommodate our order on time, although it was only few days of notice. We got exactly what we asked for with the same amazing taste. Thank you maz and samer for helping us with the happy birthday donuts surprise.
